Sulfur/ Iron

The Sulfur Stop System is designed to eliminate sulfur odors directly at the well and reduce low level iron and manganese through oxidation and precipitation. The low-flow spray nozzle recirculates water back into the well, allowing sulfur gas to separate and vent at the wellhead instead of entering the home.
Each unit includes a 5 micron sediment filter that helps protect the spray nozzle from clogging and captures precipitated iron and manganese, further improving water quality.
This system does not rely on a venturi, costly filters, or chemical treatment. Instead, it provides a reliable and efficient method for sulfur removal that traditionally required more complex and expensive equipment. Tubing length is 36in and can be cut to reduce the need for coiling the tubing.
Installation Overview:
1. Flush the spigot at the wellhead to clear debris.
2. Connect the Sulfur Stop System’s female garden hose fitting to the well spigot and to the filter housing.
3. Remove the ½” NPT plug or vent from the top of the well seal
4. Insert the misting nozzle into the well and connect the tubing to the filter housing outlet push to connect fitting and turn on the spigot.
Most systems will remove sulfur odor within 24–48 hours of operation.
Filter Cleaning Instructions
To replace the filter on the SSS system:
1. Turn off the water supply to the system.
2. Twist the filter housing counterclockwise to open.
3. Remove the filter and replace with provided filter
4. Reinstall the filter securely.
5. Turn the water supply back on.
